SUMMARY:2025 Club Championship
DESCRIPTION:On March 30th\, 2025\, we will be holding our annual Club Championship Day. Warm-up will begin at 8:30 am\, with races starting at 9:00 am.\nSwimmers wishing to compete in Championship Day events must have participated in 5 club nights\, either in the previous winter or this summer season.\nAll club members are welcome to compete\, even if they haven’t swum 5 club nights; however\, they will not earn Championship Points.\nSome Championship events are incorporated into club nights leading up to Championship Day. Swimmers wishing to earn points in these events must have swum 5 club nights before 21 March 2025. For long-distance events\, swimmers must have competed in the event at least once during the regular 2024-25 season or the previous winter season (short course) without disqualification.\nEvents on Championship Day will be organised by age categories. Unlike club night\, there is no limit to the number of events a swimmer can enter. Each swimmer may participate in all events relevant to their age group.\nThe closing date for entries is Saturday\, 22 March 2025\, at 11:59 pm\, to allow adequate time for organising the day.\nOnline entries closing time is 11pm on Saturday\, 22nd  March\, Please register your entries via Swim Central – AKSC Club Championship Registration \nParents:\nOne parent (or guardian) must be in attendance at club championship and your assistance will help the day run smoothly. Whilst the swimmers are warming up\, please present to a committee member to help with the set-up and to operate a lane timer. Your cooperation will ensure that racing can commence from 9:00am.
